Welcome to ACO Port Hope. We aim to inspire passion for the conservation of Port Hope’s architectural, historic, and natural heritage.
The Opera House
The restoration of The Opera House building—previously known as The St. Lawrence Music Hall—has been a significant project undertaking for ACO Port Hope. Located at the corner of Walton and John Streets, the building has been a focal point for downtown Port Hope for over 100 years. Saving this historic heritage property for adaptive re-use will bring huge benefits to the town and citizens.
